Refund Policy

We want QuoteKit to make you money, not cost you money. This Refund Policy explains when we issue refunds for paid subscriptions. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. 7-day money-back guarantee

If you are a new subscriber to a Starter or Pro plan and you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first charge. Email billing@quotekit.app from the address on your account and we will refund the charge to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

The 7-day guarantee applies once per customer and covers your first paid plan only.

2. Monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and do not auto-refund when cancelled. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period and is not renewed. Outside of the 7-day window, we do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial months.

3. Annual plans

Annual plans are discounted because they are a 12-month commitment paid up front. Outside of the 7-day money-back window, annual plans are non-refundable after the first charge. You can cancel an annual plan at any time to prevent the next renewal; you will keep access through the end of the paid term.

4. Renewals

Auto-renewal charges (monthly or annual) are not eligible for the 7-day guarantee. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before the renewal date from your account billing page. If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend, email us within 3 days of the renewal date and we will review the request in good faith.

5. What is not refundable

  • Add-ons, one-time purchases, and overage charges already consumed.
  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service (including fraud, abuse, or chargeback misuse).
  • Charges older than 60 days.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated proposal content where the Service operated as described — proposals are drafts that you review and edit before sending.

6. Failed payments and downgrades

If a renewal fails we will retry the payment for up to 7 days. If the payment still fails your account will be downgraded to the Free plan; your proposals remain accessible read-only, and you can re-subscribe at any time to restore full features.

7. How to request a refund

Email billing@quotekit.app from the email address on your QuoteKit account. Include the date of the charge and a brief reason. We typically respond within 1 business day and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most issues can be resolved faster directly. Accounts with open chargebacks may be suspended until the dispute is resolved.
